Hi All,

Trying to figure out licensing here.

I created a new environment with dataverse. Created a test table in dataverse. Created a canvas app and connected to dataverse table and published the app. When i login to the app i get the below message

I went ahead and checked my licensing (screenshot below). I though i had the appropriate license to use dataverse.

Went to admin center and checked my license. I think CDS is On for me. (Screenshot below)

Am I missing something here?

Thanks for your support in advance.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

If you are creating a table in Dataverse (not Dataverse for Teams) then you will required to purchase Power Apps Per App or Power Apps Per User licensing to deploy Power Apps that leverage this data source.  This is a Premium Connector and any Canvas or Model-based apps that are utilizing this will require one of those licenses for the users.

If you were utilizing Dataverse for Teams and created the Dataverse environment within Dataverse for Teams then appropriate Office 365 licensing (see licensing guide) will be applicable but not for a full Dataverse environment.
