Hi Everyone,

When I try to use the lookup formula to fill Property code filed based on the input from Proprty field. It is showing some error stating datacardvalue45 had data type error .

How can I fix this?

@Sajan_Varghese  "Selected" is only for dropdowns or similar kinds of values like that, we believe, this might be part of it.

    datacardvalue45 is a dropdown value - Proprty

@Sajan_Varghese When you hover over the Red X, what is the exact error it gives you?

This is the message I am getting.

datacardvalue5 = this data type is unsupported for evaluation ; Data Type = Control

Please read as datacardvalue45 = this data type is unsupported for evaluation ; Data Type = Control

    1. What is to the left of "Lookup" in the screenshot (i.e. what is the parameter being set) and which control is this that is being set the value for?
    2. According to your expression used here in LookUp, you are checking over the data source Property, for the supposed column Property being equal to DataCardValue45.Selected.Value and if it is true, for the first record return Acronym. Are you sure this usage is valid? Is there an actual column called Property? Is Acronym a possible column as well?

Parameter was Item and it worked when I changed to Default.

Thank you so much for helping.
