Sending email from model driven apps on behalf of the user logged in in the model driven app

We have a model driven app that add rows to Dataverse. When a row is added we would like to send an email on behalf of the user logged in to the model driven app. We can make a flow that triggers, however that would send emails from the connection and not the logged in user. Is there any way you can send from the app so its sends from the user instead? Like hooking into the button event?

    @sega2

    I agree with @manuelstgomes  if you are using the Send Email Connector but if you used Create Row and created email activity in dataverse then you can change the sender to be any of the system users which in your case will be modified by user

    Hope this gives you an idea!

    Hi @sega2

    It's not possible. When you set up the connection, you or anyone that will use the Flow will use the same link.

    There are 2 choices here:

    1. Either you use the "Send email" action that uses a system account to send the email and, therefore, the user is global. You can specify in the body of the email that is sending.

    2. Export and provide your Flow to all others who want to use it. Then they will import it and set up their own connections so that the email will be sent from their account. You can provide them this tutorial on how to import a template.

    Cheers
    Manuel
