MS E3 license for app users does not work

Hi Everybody,

Recently i've developed an App (Canvas) for a client, which runs in their environemnt. All users have a standard MS E3 license including Power Apps for Office 365. When we started using the app, people could not get access to it. The app said that there were premium elements in our app. However the app only uses Sharepoint as connector. Are there any other posibilities why people would need a premium license?

I've checked the environment type, which is 'developer'. Could it be that this should be a production evironment?

We currently solved our problem temporarily by using a 30 Microsoft Power Apps Plan 2 Trial, but this is not a sustainable solution. Any advice is very welcome!

Hello @WillemMartens,
An app can be made premium not only because of connectors used within the app, but also because of certain controls. For example, the map control is a premium feature and needs premium licenses.
Premium features have a diamond next to them if you insert them:
By the way, if the app is running in production, it should not run in a Developer environment, but in a Production environment.

Thanks! you were right. By accident I checked a box with a premium funciontality. By unchecking this box the problem was solved.
