PowerApps reading incorrect large numbers from Sharepoint List

Hi, I have a gallery of text fields with a Sharepoint List connected as the data source. The text fields read correctly except for some large numbers (particularly when it comes to numbers in the millions). For some large numbers, the app reads the large numbers and changes them by a minuscule amount (by a matter of .00000001). This is problematic as I have data validation coded into the text fields to show an error when the numbers have more than 2 decimal places. I have tried changing the numbers from Sharepoint and also changing the number on the text field itself and patching to Sharepoint, however it reverts itself to the incorrect value.

How do I ensure PowerApps doesn't change the number from Sharepoint?

It is very unusual that it happens but not sure why it happens.
Sometimes and I have experienced it myself, the straightforward things in PowerApps give error even though it shouldn't.

    Cheers!

It isn't a calculated column, just a regular numerical column. I have followed similar instructions to your linked article to "mask" the issue but still curious as to why the issue occurs in the first place.

If it is a calculated column, it is a known issue.

No, the original data reads 152710342.3, whereas PowerApps is reading from Sharepoint however somehow adding 0.00000001 to the original value. Apologies if the original post was not worded well.

Because the decimal place is set to 2. It rounds up the value to .30 and because the last 0 doesn't matter, it ignores it.
I think this is an expected behaviour.
