Getting started with Power Apps for lab results

In our lab, we subject samples to many kinds of nondestructive analyses. The data from these analyses is stored in OneDrive or DropBox.

It becomes difficult to piece together information about any single sample because the results are scattered among many different instruments.

I'd like to set up a master database, where I can apply metadata to each file according to the instrument and sample that the file represents. It should be possible to click on a sample and see all data from all instruments on one page.

I feel like this should be possible with PowerApps, but I'm completely new to this system. Where would I start?

It occurs to me that even adding the metadata isn't essential. The metadata can be stored in the Master DB. I'm just wondering how to get started working with that.

You can basically start with SharePoint if you have. PowerApps with SharePoint is very simple. Having a metadata structure makes it more possible using it. You create the various fields you need in SharePoint, and you can even add an image or attachment to it. Then from SharePoint you can decide to turn it to an App which SharePoint and PowerApps will handle for you. This can get you started

Accept this as a solution if it helps. You can give it a like as well
