Turn off Delete Privileges in Model Driven app

I have gone into my security roles and turned off delete privileges to the security role I have assigned to most users. However they can still delete items. I am guessing there may be some overriding roles assigned through the team? This is an environment that was dataverse for teams and upgraded to dataverse so we could use a model driven app. Any thoughts on where to look? This is my first foray in to security roles and model driven apps. Thanks

    Hello @Ozman_15,

I would suggest trying to find out what security roles are associated with your users. Then you can check each role to find out which role provides the delete privilege.

Do you have access to the Power Platform Admin Center?

If yes, please locate the environment button on the menu on the left, and then select the environment where you need to check user access:

In the overview screen for your environment, click "Settings":

In the settings menu, locate the "Users" button under "Users + permissions":

Then, click on the name of one user that can delete records:

This will open a new dialog, where you select "Manage roles":

This will give you an overview of roles that are associated with this user. Please check if there are security roles that grant the delete privilege for your table to the user. Note that some roles, e.g. "System Administrator", can delete records in almost any table.

If you cannot find any security role directly associated with this user that would grant them delete privileges, the users might also have security roles because they are part of a Dataverse team.

Thank You, for your reply. I found out after posting this that in fact the delete privileges were correct and I was getting inaccurate reports from users.
