bulk edit error

When I select several records from my Contact entity and press edit I get an error message. It seems I've lost the ability to 'bulk edit'.

Has anyone else experienced and overcome this?

Is it possible to take a solution from another environment and import it into the environment that throws the error. (Note that it is my default environment that seems corrupted.)

Thanks for any feedback - my renewal for CDS comes up in two weeks and I'm hoping I can either resolve this missing key feature or have Microsoft resolve it for me.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @GeraldDahl,

What's the exact error message you are getting? You can click the "download log" from the error popup. Are you a system admin/customizer? If not, depending on the error you might need to check with your local system admin. Yes, it might be a privilege issue, to bulk edit you need two privileges, write on the entity in question and bulk edit:

You can import a solution from another environment, but be careful because you might overwrite changes in the destination environment and you might have dependency issues especially it's not an environment in your release pipeline (i.e. Dev, UAT, Prod). My suggestion is not import a solution just yet until we know specifically what the issue is.

    Thanks

Thanks Eric, I will post the error later this week and also check the permissions you have illustrated. I am a system administrator.

I checked my permissions. I am a system admin/customizer and I did set my permissions for write for the entity in question plus I selected the bulk edit setting - still got the same error code - Invalid Argument:

That's doesn't seem to be a privilege issue with bulk edits. I think there's a custom plugin or workflow that's causing the error. Have you look at the Plugin Traces and System Jobs to get a bit more info about the error? Below are links to help on how to enable and view them:
