Power App with Microsoft Team Meeting

Hello Everyone,

How to connect power App to the Microsoft Team meetings.

I have to do the following

- Retrieve Name of the Calendar Events

- Date of the Calendar Events

- To download any file attached in Calendar event

I think, first two can be done via using Get Event (Calendar) (Power Flow) , how to do download attached file along with capturing of first two detail

Thanks

Amit

    Hi @amsrivas ,

The attachments must be saved to SharePoint or OneDrive for business first, then list the files in the gallery and use Download function to download it.

For more details, please find my answer in this thread.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi @v-siky-msft

    Thanks for the reply.

However, the biggest challenge is to download an attachment from Teams Meeting.

Could you please suggest how to download attachment from the Team's meeting programatically.

    Thanks

    Amit

    Hi @amsrivas ,

Sorry, I got confused the Event with Email.

For now, current available Office365 Outlook connector doesn't support to retrieve Attachment from a Calendar Event. Please submit an idea to PowerApps idea forum if you want this feature.

Further more, try to create a customer connector is an alternative workaround since Outlook 365 Calendar REST API supports Get Events attachments. The following documents are for your reference.

    Calendar REST API reference

    Hope this helps.

    Hi @v-siky-msft

I have gone through the links provided and below URL as well

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Get-Outlook-calendar-attachment/td-p/91373

However, in a Microsoft Power Automate Flow, it will only allow Premium members to create Custom Connector and i have constraint not to use Premium so i am not able to proceed further with Custom Connector that call API.

    Is it possible ?

    - With any workaround to achieve the goal without using PREMIUM Power Automate Flow

    - Any way to call API directly from Power APP with free version.

    Thanks

    Hi @amsrivas ,

No way, Custom Connector is Premium feature that requires a Standalone PowerApps/PowerAutomate Plans .

Hence, you need to upgrade your PowerApps plan in order to make a custom connector.

    Hi @v-siky-msft

OK.. so it means there is no way to achieve my goal (downloading attachment from Team Meeting) except using Custom Connector in Power App/Power Flow.

Is there any other way around without using custom connectors?? Any thought??

    OR

We won't be able to achieve it without custom connectors in Power App/Power Flow.

    Thanks

    Amit

    Hi @amsrivas ,

Yes, due to the limitation of current available Connectors, so the only way is to customize a custom connector to Get Events attachments using Outlook 365 Calendar REST API.

    Hi @v-siky-msft

    Many thanks for information.

So what i understood is it is not possible to achieve the goal via Power App/Power Automate with Free version.

Will it be possible to do the same with Power BI report (Pro Version), may be, too many question might be a bit annoying for you to answer but i am just looking for some sort of solution with my limitation.

    Many Thanks
