Replace SharePoint List PowerApps form with a Different PowerApps Form

I am in the process of learning PowerApps and have tried multiple methods of building a PowerApps form for a SharePoint List in SharePoint Online. One method I used was to "Customize the Form" form the SharePoint list, another was to create the app from inside PowerApps and connect it to the SharePoint List. The latter is the PowerApps form I would like to use, how can I apply it to the SharePoint list? From what I have read so far, this isn't possible but I don't know that I am accessing the most current information.

I deleted the custom form in the Settings > Form Settings, and changed it back to "User the default SharePoint form" option.

Thank you!

The only way to create the integrated PowerApps custom form for a SharePoint list is through the PowerApps > Customize forms action in the SharePoint list.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The latter is the standalone app. See the difference in below documentation:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/customize-list-form

    "

    Forms vs. apps

Q: How does a customized form differ from a standalone app that I create from SharePoint or PowerApps?

A: If you customize the form for a SharePoint list, the form doesn't appear as an app in PowerApps Studio or PowerApps Mobile. You can open the form only from the list for which you created it.

Q: When should I customize a form to manage data in a SharePoint list, and when should I create a standalone app?

A: Customize a form if you want your users to manage data without leaving SharePoint (for example, in a desktop browser). Create an app if you want your users to manage data outside of SharePoint (for example, on a mobile device).

If you want the standalone app to show on SharePoint web site, you could embed the app on pages, using an embed code. Please follow steps in below link to achieve this:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/customize-list-form

    Mona
