We have created an agent in Copilot Studio with Sharepoint Knowledge, Use generative AI to determine how best to respond to users and events (preview) is enabled
and Allow the AI to use its own general knowledge is disabled, Security is set to default Authentication - Authenticate with Microsoft.

The agent works well in Copilot Studio publishes with out error, we have added to MS Teams and selected Open in teams from Copilot Studio, Ms Teams opens the agent but is acts as a standard chat, no responses, in the About of the actual chat there is a warning

Permissions needed. Ask your IT admin to add **Agent** to this team/chat/meeting. **Agent** being our agents name

Our admin have checked MS Team Admin portal and have advised there is nothing more they can give permission wise.

Any ideas why its not working ?

Thanks, yes that did answer the query, I would like to add it took a few hours before actually working in teams though.

    Hey,

Follow these steps; I hope they help:

    1. Open Copilot Studio: Go to your agent and navigate to the Channels section on the right.
    2. Select Teams:
      • Under Configuration, go to Agent Details and check the box Allow users to add this agent to a team, then hit Save.
    3. Availability Settings:
      • In the bottom-right corner, click Availability Options and choose Show to everyone in my org.
    4. Admin Approval:
      • This will send an approval request to your admin. Once they accept, your bot will appear under the Added by your org section in Apps within Teams.
