Using Lookups in SP List and Updating Power App Form with Dataverse Backend

I have a Canvas App with a Dataverse Backend as well as  SP List which I have columns of data.

I want to use the SP List called "Program Office List" and a  Column named "Program Office" to be a lookup/choice field in my Power App. Is it possible to encorporate the SP List Reference as a Lookup column in my Power Apps form if it is using a Dataverse table as the backend, and save the choice to the dataverse table?

Essentially:

SP List named "Program Office List" with Column "Program Office"
Power Apps Edit form who's source is Dataverse Table Named "Programs" with Column "dt_Program_Office"
I want to have a choice field from the "Program Office" SP Column that writes to the "dt_Program_Office"

Is this possible?

@jokano1 - yes this is possible. What is the data type for the "dt_Program_Office" field in your Dataverse table? (Single Line Text, Number, single-select Local Choice etc).

@Amik It originally was a Dataverse Lookup Column, but I am having to change it to a Choice field that is directed at the SP column for the data.

@jokano1 - could you clarify this part of your comment: "that is directed at the SP column for the data."

Are you saying you have some sort of synchronisation happening between the SharePoint List and Dataverse?
