Failed to delete Model driven app

Im struggling with removing a modeldriven app. It cant be removed either from the solution or the environment. Im getting this error message:

Removing objects failed. Sql error: Statement conflicted with a constraint. The DELETE statement conflicted with the SAME TABLE REFERENCE constraint "solutioncomponent_parent_solutioncomponent". The conflict occurred in database "db_crmcoreemea_20230131_04185718_7784", table "dbo.SolutionComponentBase", column 'RootSolutionComponentId'. The statement has been terminated. CRM ErrorCode: -2147185375 Sql ErrorCode: -2146232060 Sql Number: 547

came across a possible solution, that solved it on my end. maybe it will help others, too.
I had to open up the respective app in edit view, make any type of change and publish the app once more. Once the app is published, I was able to delete it manually.
