Hi there,

I have a SharePoint list as a data source. Almost all fields are displaying OK and i can edit them except one field called "Name". The "Name" field is duplicated and it is a required field in list.

Now whenever i insert some name into this field, the duplicated one ends up on error "Field Required" even after making it hidden from EditForm.

Please help me in this. Should i have to edit the list?

Hi NaqashAhmed,

What do you mean by the “Name” field is duplicated? Could you show me more details on it?

If you set columns to “Required” in the list, even though you hide them from the EditForm, it will still ask for a value.

To test this issue, I create an app from SharePoint list, I have two Required fields in the list. I can save data back to the list successfully when I enter values into both the two required fields.

Please show me more details to help reproduce this issue on my side.

You had already reproduced the issue exactly which i am facing and understood me correctly.

I will try to remove the fields from the SP List which are making duplication.
