Hi everyone

How do I send an email with multiple attachments in one go from PowerApps > Power Automate?

Below is a code snippet from a button in powerapp, however the issue is that it sends multiple emails with single attachment.

Thanks

Button OnSelect:
ForAll(
    attachmentControl.Attachments,
    'HR|Sendemail'.Run(
        "text 1",
        "text 2",
        "text 3",
        {
            file: {
                name: ThisRecord.Name,
                contentBytes: ThisRecord.Value
            }
        }
    )
)

    You could try passing the attachments array as a string and in your Flow, parse the  array, but I'm not sure if there's a size limit to that input string (worth checking).
    the way I'd do it is probably submit the attachments to a temporary list item and passing the list item ID to your flow for processing (after the email is sent you can delete the item along with its attachments (you can also keep them for future reference). You can also use a "Item Created" trigger using this approach, this will allow sending the emails as a service account (if that's a requirement).

    You can do it directly from Power Apps like this
    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
       "text 1",
       "text 2",
       "text 3",
       {
          Attachments:
          RenameColumns(
             attachmentControl.Attachments,
             Value,
             ContentBytes
          )
       }
    )
    but doing that in a Flow is possible, but complex (and I have never bothered)

    In power automate, we can change the connection to a specific account to run the flow. Can we do the same in power app? Otherwise, it won't work because only a few people have access the shared mailbox.

    No unfortunately - this video may assist in doing it with a Flow.
