Option to Save As and Replace Existing App No Longer Available

It appears that the new Power App menu no longer allows to Save As and replace an existing app. How can I go about doing this? It's a bit essential if we're developing a dev/test version and need to replace it with the production version of the app that's already circulated throughout the company.

Old - allows to choose and replace old apps:

Can you try clicking the variables menu item? That should hopefully open the old 'file' menu that enables you to select the old 'save as' menu item.

This was exactly what I was looking for.
I hope they don't get rid of this. It's one thing to say "just create your app in another environment", however I don't have access to do that. And this is much easier than getting everyone in the business to update their links.

"Obscure" to say the least. Microsoft often does this hide-&-seek game with the options of their apps.

Wow... thanks for this... I was having the same issue even though I think they added an option to Overwrite an old app. But, the Overwrite ability only seems to work intermittently.

Looks like they've once again got rid of this feature, at least, where it use to be. The save as is now a drop down next to the Save button, but when you do save as, and put in existing app name, gives an error (even says you can choose to replace it, but doesn't give that option). Anyone know how to do the Save As over existing App again?

The workaround I mentioned here no longer works, following the implementation of the new variables pane.

Another workaround is to click the alt-F shortcut in the editor and to go to the 'save as' window. That will enable you to click the 'Replace...' link to replace the existing app.

I can't believe they are enforcing this hide-and-seek game. The original "Save as" function didn't allow replacing my release version, however your alt+f -> save as workaround did the trick.
