Modern table column filter - still gray / dissabled

Hi,

I have a simple question.
I have a power app - canvas. I use Dataverse as a database.
I want to use a modern table - to use its potential of built-in functions and design.
When I bind the table to data, when I click on the header of any column, I see the options: change width, sort and filter.
Change width and sorting works.
But filtering is still grayed out or not working

Can someone please advise me how this functionality works?
What do I need to do to make it work?
Is it necessary to do or implement something in Dataverse?

Thank you for any advice.
Tom

    Tom,

Currently still this is greyed out.

For the filter you place respective textbox / drop down controls and update the Item Property of the Table accordingly.

The feature is still on 'preview', which means it is not ready to use on an active application. My feeling is the filter is not active for now or is disable for some time :/. As an alternative way to do it, you can use the table views to filter the table and create a textbox to be able to search for terms inside specific columns.

Then, on your Table Items, you use Search:
    Search('Réservations de bureau'; TextInput1.Text; Name)

You can only search on text column from this, but you can create PowerFX field (formula) to get a text column from another column from another type. I know it implies many addons, but like I said, the feature is experimental for now.
