This weej I have decided move my pictures to a share point folder and so far so good the pictures using the web browser render so fast, very happry with the perfomance, but in the ipad I can see the data but no pictures, any idea what could be the issue?

thnaks in advance for any help.

One basic thing you could check is whether you have given access to SP folder when you are signing in to your Powerapps account using the iPad. Happens most of the time when you are running an app for the first time.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply, just curious if I can see the pictures in my browser why not in the iPad? And you mean check the SP site for sharing permissions?

    thsnks in advance

Nope. Signout from your powerapps account on your iPad. Then signback in. When you try to reopen the app. It'll ask for permission to all the sources including SP. If you allow access to that it should work (ideally).

You need to allow access on each device you sign in (unless its a browser)

Hi, zi just did it, and also rebooted the iPad just in case clear any cache, sign in again and it didn't ask for permission. Did I something wrong?

I think there's nothing wrong with the process.

If you are using the same account that you are using to edit the app, the permission should work.

If your browser pulls the images succesfully, I dont think there's anything to be done in SP site sharing permission either.

Am also currently working on the same app for a resource booking solution.

I am still keeping the images in onedrive.

One thing that I noticed is that for the original icons in 'CategoryImage' does't like to pick images from the root.

    It need an URL.

    Am running out of options.

Sorry that I couldn't be of much help mate.

Is ok!, thank you very much for your advice. I will continue looking for a solution, I don't want to go back to OneDrive because SP render the pictures so fast.

    thanks again !

I there, after play with these app the whole weekend founded the following:

I was able to see the pictures in my home PC I guess becuase the cache stuff, but in my office PC nothing.

    Here is what I did.

I have my data file in excel - one drive, in that file I have a column for the pictures with a Share Point folder URL.

If I click in that hyperlink I am able to see the picture in my web browser.

Now I can not see the pictures in my APP (browser, ipad, etc)

Probably you are thinking why the data in Excel and pictures in SPL?

Because I exported the excel file to SPL and modified the connection in my APP but this action screw up all of the formulas.

Could you please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

    Back on the loop 🙂

Can I suggest you to try something?

    Quote from my previous reply:

"One thing that I noticed is that for the original icons in 'CategoryImage' does't like to pick images from the root.

    It need an URL."

Can you change the path of one image to a URL ending with image file extension (.jpg, .png etc)?

    (any image online)

    No harm in checking 🙂

    Hi, thanks for your help!!

    couple of things I noticed.

I have been almost 20 consecutive hours with this sucker "sorry" but I am almost done. The pictures was a copy paste issue.

Now I have all my pictures linked with the folder in my SPL

I also noticed that the extra characters that SPL add for text fileds are only for fields with multirow "excel format" when you hit Alt+Enter to add a new row in the same field. now if I change this to plain text I will lost the desired effect.

    Any suggestion?

he type of information in this column is:
    Multiple lines of text

So basically I am stuck with the weird format and sorting the main gallery, can't get the proper information to show

    If(category = "Most checked out", Sort(Filter(Products,CategoryId=CategoriesGallery.Selected.CategoryId && SearchBoxText.Text in ProductName),CountValue,Descending), category = "Reviews", Sort(Filter(Products,CategoryId=CategoriesGallery.Selected.CategoryId && SearchBoxText.Text in ProductName),Comments,Descending),Filter(Products,CategoryId=CategoriesGallery.Selected.CategoryId && SearchBoxText.Text in ProductName))
