I have a table in Dataverse for Teams and I need to compare a cell in another row using a calculated formula field to be able to detect and mark duplicate records.
Any Ideas how this can be done?
Thanks
@_Luca Could you please give more details please. Looking at the partially understood scenario this might not be possible OOB. but achievable through Pre Validation plugin.
I have loaded a excel file into a new DV table with Dataflows. The table has a column of unique references called ID these rows are duplicated due to a 1:N relationship with another column in the excel file. However i want to be able to identify the duplicate ID's and mark them in a separate calculated column so they can be filtered out. E.g. if the original ID column had 150 values but within that there are 70 dupes, I need to be able to identify the other 80 unique values. If ID=2009 was duplicated three times, I would need 2 of these duplicates to be marked in the calculated column and one original to remain unmarked. Thanks.
@_Luca You can create a alternate key for the unique identifier attribute to avoid duplicates. To get the duplicate record count. you cannot use calculated fields/rollup field. However if you already loaded and would like to update this field go for code (Dynamics SDK).
