Issue trying to change the production instance URL

We are trying to change the default URL for a production instance but keep getting an error when trying to change it. 

 

The new production generated one is the typical "orgr52xvf.crm.dynamics.com" and it needs to be changed to a new one "client.crm.dynamics.com" but keep getting an error "Failed to validate the selected inputs for environment update. RequestID 4fgcvds-5677-

    I would recommend opening the ticket with Microsoft regarding this issue.
