Connecting a Power Virtual Agent to a Team in Microsoft Team.

My Problem is that my Power Virtual Agent can not connect to a Team in Microsoft Teams correctly.

In a personal Chat with the Bot everything is fine but after connecting the Virtual Agent to a Team, the Virtual Agent can not identify the Trigger-Phrases of the Chat bot, so the only Response i get is:

"Sorry, I am not able to find a related topic. Can you rephrase and try again?".

The only difference is that in the Team conversation u Need to @message the bot

and in the personal Chat u don't.

Does anyone have a solution for this Problem?

Kind regards

Praktikant

    Hi @Praktikant ,

To prevent disrupting users that are already in conversation with the bot, existing conversation on Teams will not receive the latest content until it has been idle over a period of time.  New conversations with the bot on Teams will have the latest bot content the moment you publish on Power Virtual Agents.

First of all thanks for your answer.

The Problem is that the chatbot is the same in the personal Chat as well  as in the Team Chat.

In the Team Chat the Power Virtual Agent doesn't accept the trigger phrases. But in the personal Chat it does. I tried both variations splitted.

That means, when the bot was in the personal Chat scope it wasn't active inside the teamchat and when it was in the teamchat it wasn't active in the personal scope.

    Kind regards

    Thank you for the Information.

Do you know if there is already a date when the Team scope is available?

Keep in mind that moving a bot into a team chat changes the dynamic of the bot altogether. It is not simply a matter of turning it on. you need to think about the interaction flow. I cannot envision how a multi-turn dialog would happen in a team chat. How does the bot know you are talking to it and not another user? We need a mechanism to @bot so it knows we are talking to it and not someone else.
