Hi,
Where can I find my custom views created for my modeldriven app? I can only see the data and its columns. I need to edit my data records on excel and publish it back to the dataverse. I dont seem to see that option too. Please advise.
Hi
In https://make.powerapps.com you find it if you open dataverse left menu and choose a table. You will find forms views dashboard and charts all under data experience.
Hi @Moximox
I am not able to edit my data records on excel and publish it back to the dataverse. I dont seem to see that option too.
there are numerous places you can do this but if you are in a view with a model driven app then you click on export excel and choose excel online. If you don’t see this you might be missing the permissions or the button is hidden on the form. You can unhide thr button using for example the ribbon workbench.
hi @Moximox
I was referring to editing excel online and signing in to the connector and after making changes, we will be able to publish it to dataverse. I dont see that option now.
If you dont see the excel button - try to use the ribbon workbench and unhide the
button or make sure the user has the export to excel
permission for the entity.
@Moximox believe they may referring to doing it from within the "Maker" solution interface - believe edit and export to excel was possible until a recent MSFT change.
Edit: think the issue being described is the same as this one https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Dataverse/Edit-in-excel/td-p/1605402
Edit in excel from make has been available for some time now and is available for all custom tables.
