How to access data of Microsoft Milestones?

Hi to all,

we're developing a solution that integrates a lot of data from many "tasks" applications (on premise applications, Microsoft Planner and so on...) in Azure Synapse.

One of our key user is evaluating the new app Microsoft Milestones https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/teams/milestones, which I've understood is made with Power Apps.

So the question is: is there a way to programmatically query the data of this app, like we've done with other applications?

Best regards

Daniele

I've never used the Milestones app, but when you installed it in Teams, you had to approve any data connections it wanted to use, so that should have presented you with whatever the underlying data store is.

My guess would be that it is a simple app that gets deployed into your CDS default environment, like the Approvals app in teams. If that is the case, you can query the data there.

    Hi cchannon,

thank you very much for your answer. I'm quite new to the Power Apps world, do you have any doc on how to access the data (if the app Approvals is similar to Milestones, that would be a starting point).

    Thank you so much

Sure. No promises that it is the same as approvals, but here is the answer I posted to a question about the Approvals app recently.
