JS to populate value in QuickCreateForm. Not Mappable b/c no relationship with value in parent form

Because of the above situation, mapping doesn't work.
  • Parent form field value is ppt_sitename which is a lookup to Account Name from the Account table.
  • Subgrid is: subgrid_pickupdata
  • Entity name that subgrid is based on: ppt_pickupdata
  • Field name to be populated in Quick Create form is also: ppt_sitename (which is also a lookup to Account Name from the Account table)
Assuming it should it fire on load of the quick create form?

     If you are accessing the Quick Create Form through a Subgrid in a Parent Form then you can use the classic field mapping experience to populate the Parent Lookup field in the Child record. Have you tried that?
