I do not see Classic controls available. Has this been removed? I am also trying to add a border to a text box in a gallery in Teams build mode as text input is not available in a gallery. I am trying to create an editable grid in a gallery, so a border for a text box is very useful.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Ahh, no, Classic controls are great.

Let's say that some of our users have never been exposed to powerapps, they start directly with the PowerApps functionality integrated in Teams, but we also have a very large number of users who start with PowerApps, so keeping the classic control functionality is a very user-friendly experience for them.

We give users as many options as possible to choose any control that meets their needs, and that's the point of a low-code platform like power apps.

Is there a negative to using classic controls? Why would there be reduced functionality in newer controls. I typically shy away from "legacy" approaches, but it is a valid answer.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to have Border property of a TextBox in PowerApps for Teams?

Actually, you could switch to Classic control mode to select a TextInput control including Border property.

Go to Settings>Upcoming Features>Experimental>enable Classic controls
