How do i view Dataverse files through an app? Not talking about pdfs or images.

IS there a way to view the Dataverse file column files through an app? I'm able to get the pdf and the images but definitely not any other type of file. the old spo magic substitute function doesn't work for this.

There are no default viewers no. But you could try this
PowerApps Document Viewer: View Word, Excel, PDF & PowerPoint Files In Power Apps | Power Apps (devoworx.net)

I'm aware of this method via sharepoint but what about dataverse?

Its the same principle, there is no difference except where you are grabbing the content from. If the data is in a column, you still need to get it and write it to "somewhere" so you can turn it into a PDF so you can view it.

If its actual files attachments etc then grab the attachment, save it and convert it.
