New PDF Function -> Consider Page Breaks

Hi,

I am trying to create a pdf document applying the new pdf function within Power Apps. I have a gallery of images to be included in this pdf document. Overall the pdf function is working fine.

The only issue I am experiencing is that page breaks are not automatically considered meaning I have overlapping images between two pages in the pdf (see also attachments).

How can I avoid that images are split/overlapping between two pages and a page break is automatically considered if the image does not fit completely on one page?

    I too am looking for this.  Especially when it comes to printing a gallery list.   It doesn't format very well once you get into the third of forth page.

    @DirkKoch I found a way to solve this.  This is the code I used, but basically you just need to add the contentBytes to the end:

    SavePDFFile.Run({file:{name:varApplicationName & " - System Restore Order.pdf", contentBytes:PDF('System Restore Order',{ExpandContainers:true, Orientation:PaperOrientation.Landscape, Size:PaperSize.A4, DPI:50})}});

    Hello @nantshoptaw ,

    Can you please provide more info about your solution?

    When attempting to print a pdf with 30-50 items, it would be nice to adjust the "Template Size" as to how many can fit onto one page, then be able to print accordingly.  Because there is no restrictions, it would split one of the records, half on one page, and then half on the second page.  It would be nice to be able to have a page break so that you see the whole record/table/cell on a new page rather than split up.

    We are also struggling with same issue.Even with html to pdf coversion via flow. Not sure how to split huge data ( from a multi line text field) spanning over multiple pdf pages to have accurate page breaks!

    I still haven't found a perfect solution, but at the moment we are using a good enough approximation where we try to control the page breaks with the size of the datacards in the form option.

    I couldn't control the page size on a gallery so I have created a table in a htmlText field with Concat and html coding and set the height of that table to 1550px (approximate size of a page), (I had to create a collection for this from the data source).

    I have a Power Automate file called SavePDFFile (see attached image).

    For my PDF icon, I have the following:

    Set(varPDFFunctions, PDF(Functions));

    SavePDFFile.Run({file:{name:varDepartmentName & " - Functions.pdf", contentBytes:PDF(Functions,{ExpandContainers:true, Orientation:PaperOrientation.Landscape, Size:PaperSize.A4, DPI:50})}});

    If I knew more about how it actually worked, I'd provide more detail.  All I know is that my screen shot comes out clean with page breaks each time.

    I am having the same issue, below is my code and it always ends up cutting gallery records in half.  Does anyone have a work around for this?

    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
    User().Email,
    "I&TI Statements",
    "PDF From I&TI App",
    {
    Attachments: Table(
    {
    Name: "I&TI.pdf",
    ContentBytes: PDF(
    'galI&TIReport_1',
    {
    ExpandContainers: true,
    Orientation: PaperOrientation.Portrait,
    Size: PaperSize.A4,
    DPI: 100
    }
    )
    }
    )
    }
    )
