Can't trigger correct customized topic

Hi there,

I am testing chatbot and I found it can't trigger the correct customized topic even when I used the same phrase. For example, the phrases in the 'building direction 'topic are:

building direction

how do i get to the building

where is the building located

directions to the building

find the building

navigate to the building

where is

How can I get to

Get to the building

and I use 'how can I get to birch building', it triggered fallback topic.

Is there anyone has same situation? Any replies will be helpful! Thanks in advance!

Hi Jeffer Ni!
This is a uni student service chatbot. Currently it is independent, which means it isn't integrated in another platform. i am testing it in copilot studio. I am not sure if this answers your second question.

For the trouble screenshot, this is how i setup the 'building direction' topic.

Trouble: When i have questions related to 'building direction', AI generated answer triggered but it is not correct. (also sometimes fallback topic was triggered. it is shown as 'I'm sorry,......'). It is noted that for this 'how can i get to...'question, sometimes it works.

Trouble: For the situation below, PVA can't identify the building direction topic
Trouble: For the situation below, PVA identify it as the accommodation topic. ('Fenner hall' is one trigger phrase under accommodation topic)

I think this may be problem of inconsistency and instability. Really appreciate if you have any suggestion.

Hi @YakeLiu ,

Currently, there is no way to detect specific values from trigger inputs. So, the phrases should not be too specific. To work around this, you can use short phrases as the trigger:

then ask a question to the user with options of all buildings:

Create an entity to store all available buildings, use it as the options in the Question.
