Turn Text Field Content Shown as 0.0 to 00.00

When I first built the below the Total appeared as dollars and cents.

Along the way I've changed something, I know not what, that now causes the Total to appear as a one-space decimal.

The Default property of Total is - TextInput2_2 (Unit Price) * TextInput2 (Quantity). All fields are formatted as 'Text'.

What change do I need to make to force the Total to be '00.00'? Total should show as 8.90.

    Hi @Phineas

    Can you try this formula

    Text(Value(TextInput2_2.Text) * Value(TextInput2.Text),"[$-en-US]0.00")

    (Or)

    Text(TextInput2_2.Text * TextInput2.Text, "[$-en-US]0.00")

    Thanks!

    Somehow I got my two decimal format back.

    I tried your options, nNeither worked; Though I like having the currency visual.

    The Total field is outside the Gallery and has - Sum(Gallery4_1.AllItems,TextInput2_3.Text) in the text property.

    Is there a way to update the above formula in the Total field so that is displays currency ($) with the total?

    Hi @Phineas

    Try this formula in the Text property.

    Text(Sum(Gallery4_1.AllItems, TextInput2_3.Text), "[$-en-US]$0.00")

    HI @Phineas ,

    You need to try this one on total textbox,

    Text(Value(TextInput2_2.Text) * Value(TextInput2.Text),"[$-en-US]0.00")

    I hope this will work.

    @Phineas

    To display the $ symbol with the total, my preference would be to prefix the summed value with the dollar symbol rather than include the $ symbol in the format string.

    $ symbols that are included in the format string will adhere to the language of the end user. For example, I'm based in the UK and you can see how Power Apps displays the £ symbol when $ is added to the format string.

    By prefixing the sum with a hardcoded character, the $ symbol will always appear irrespective of the end user language settings.

    "$" & Text(
     Sum(Gallery4_1.AllItems,Value(TextInput2_3.Text)),
     "[$-en-US]$0.00"
     )
