Send inputs from Form and one Combo Box to create a list item on a SharePoint List

hi guys

i have a Form which is connected to a SharePoint List ("List 1)" and a Combo Box which is connected to another SharePoint List ("List 2").

How can i connect the data from the Form and the Combo Box to create an Item on List 1?

I know there is the function "Collect" but i think this works only for Collections.

At the end i want to create a new list item with all the data from the form and the data from the Combo Box on the column called "Test" on list 1.

Can someone help me and tell me if it's possible?

Thanks

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

    To achieve your goal of creating a new list item in “List 1” with data from both the form and the Combo Box, follow these steps:

    -Create a Microsoft Form:

    -Design a form to collect the necessary data.

    -Define the fields you want to include.

    Set Up a SharePoint List (List 1)

    -Create a list that aligns with the form fields.

    -Ensure it has a “Test” column.

    -Use Power Automate (Microsoft Flow)

    -Set up a flow triggered by form responses.

    -Retrieve form data and combine it with Combo Box data.

    -Create a new item in List 1 with the combined data.

    If this fixes the issue, please mark as resolved to help others with find it.

    Happy to help.

    Let's say you've created a form based on List1.

    If you go to the Form > Fields and select the Test card, you would change the control type to 'Allowed Values'. This adds a dropdown control to the Test card and you can set the Items property of this to Test2.

    Because you've modified the card that was bound to to the Test column in List1, when you submit the form, it'll save the Test2 value to the Test column in List1.

    Hi,

    So you have a form, which points to List 1.
    Where is the combobox? In another Form? Or just a combobox on the screen?

    If you want to do this, you need to use a patch statement, because the Form, doesn't have all the data.

    //Creating a New List1 Item./Row
    Patch(List1, Defaults(List1),
         {
               Field1: FieldINFOrm1,
               Field2: ValueFromComboBoxFromList2,
               Field3: FieldINForm1
         }
    );

    You would have to use Patch, because the ComboBox belongs to a totally different List. So in your patch,
    you have to manually add all the values,
    versus using a Submit Form.

    Thanks to all of you for your help.

    Patch() was the right way for me. Thank you @FLMike
