How does AI Builder licensing (for Invoice Processing) handle a single PDF with multiple "support" pages?

Good morning, I have a client that is inquiring about the AI Builder Invoice Processing module and they have a question regarding how AI Builder credits / licensing works when a vendor sends one PDF where the first page (or two) is the actual invoice and the rest of the pages are "supporting docs"?  If I pass the complete 20 page PDF to AI Builder, can I assume that from a licensing perspective, all 20 pages will count towards my AI Builder credits?

 

From a tech perspective, I believe I can tell the AI Builder invoice extraction component to only process the first X number of pages from a PDF which would be a no brainer if the invoice was ALWAYS on the first page.

    Hi Ford, Billing for document based models is on a per page processed basis. All pages which were processed by the model will be billed. Using the pages parameter in the Power Automate action allows you to restrict the number of pages to be processed which will limit costs (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/ai-builder/form-processing-model-in-flow#input). Does this answer your questions?
