Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has found a solution to PowerApps app sessions ending prematurely for end users? I have looked at the forum and it seems that people have been having this issue for a number of years with no confirmed solution.
I have read this document which says that the maximum session time is 1440 minutes. I have set this to 1440 minutes but my end users are reporting their sessions ending after 8 hours. I have verified this by letting opening the app at the beginning of the day and the session ended after 8 hours. The document seems to suggest that some sort of dialog box will appear allowing users to refresh their session but none of my users have seen this pop up. Have I misunderstood this article?

I have had made sure that their computers aren't locking due to inactivity so I am pretty sure PowerApps is causing the user sessions to end.
To make the app easy for my users to use, I would like sessions to last indefinitely or at least allow the user to refresh their sessions after the 24 hour period is up. Most of the time my users are just referring to text or pictures on the screen while they work so they don't "actively" interact with the screen. If the dialog box actually appeared I could program the computer to click in that location 24 hours later but that sort of work around is pretty silly.
I have read @RandyHayes 's response in the second post but I can't tell if his solution addresses user inactivity or session length.
I want to make using the app as smooth as possible for my users and issues like this make buy-in difficult. I would appreciate any help you can provide.
