So, what I wanted to do was to create a sharepoint site which would house all the links to the apps that we would develop. A tab in teams would be created for this sharepoint site. the default behavior of the app links would launch the app in edge/chrome instead of it launching in the teams window instead.
How do i do this?
Hello @AlaricNS
The thing with embedding SharePoint or any Web in Teams tab is that it acts like an IFrame and everything you within it will be isolated within that iFrame.
One other way you can do this is Simple App which contains links to the other apps. You can use the Launch function or the HTMLText to create Links. Then add that Simple App to a Teams Tab so that when a button is clicked, it will open the URL in an external browser and not within the tab.

i was considering this in-case there was no work around my problem. Thanks!
