The getObject method does not work in Unified Interface

The method returns null when in Unified Interface. In classic interface it works fine.

 

Please fix. Thank you.

    Method: formContext.getControl(arg).getObject();

     

    Just read the doc page again and looks like it can return null if called before onreadystatecomplete.
