    D365 data is indeed stored in CDS. What other systems are you interested in?

    Yes. It's a relational database, so it can store almost any type of tabular data. It also supports files, and other data types as well.
    Also, D365 online is CDS on the back end. Having D365 adds other entities and functionality specific to the type of D365 you're licensed for.

    Hi @Vikas2020,

    The Common Data Service environment data can be stored to Data Lake Storage Gen2 in your Azure subscription. Please refer to the following report:

    Azure Data Lake
    ===============
    • Export entity data to Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/export-to-data-lake
    • Use the Common Data Model to optimize Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/common-data-model/data-lake

    More Information
    ===============
    • The data structure of the Azure Data Lake is File data. This could be used for Report as like Power BI or Data analysis purpose
    • If the business requirement requires high Data I/O or real time (almost) data, needs to choose the other option such as using Dynamics 365 instance (if you have Dynamics 365 subscription) with Data Export Service
    • Data Export Service: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/replicate-data-microsoft-azure-sql-database

    Please review the report above and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Jisung Han
