Date and Time Offset

I had a few instances where I was processing large volumes of data, and noticed afterwards that some of the dates were a day out. The first time it happened, I assumed I made a mistake somehow. The second time I was a bit suspicious. The third time I knew something was wrong, but I didn't know what.

For a while, I didn't encounter the issue again. Until today.

I created a simple power flow this morning to alert the staff about a client's birthday. I created a test client with a birthday today, so that I could test the flow. The flow isn't giving the desired results. When I checked the flow outcome, up comes the issue again - see the screenshot.

Why is this happening? How do I fix it? What is this datetimeoffset thing?

    Hi @hildasteyn ,

This is definitely a date / time zone issue.

All dates in Dataverse are stored in UTC and then you can define different types of fields on your dates in Dataverse.  For something like a Birthday, you should look at a Date Only field and in the advanced settings set as Date Only as well.
