PowerApp Studio for desktop not working for edit or new defaults to browser

Hello,

 

I am trying to use the PowerApp Studio desktop app.  

 

I open it up, seems fine, download the app, seems fine, but when I attempt to edit it always defaults to the browser.

The same behavior when I try to create a new app in the deaktop app, defaults to the browser.

 

My OS is Windows 10 latest build and updates, I tried on another computer with windows 10, same behavior.

    Hi Robby,

     

    That is a feature not a bug. I believe that the Powerapps team has previously announced that they will stop using the desktop version in favor of doing all editing on the web version.

    It is deprecated as can be read here: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerapps-studio-for-the-web-is-generally-available-for-production-use/

     

    You can only use the PowerApps Studio for Web now.
