Copy Email id from PersonType column to Text Field

Good Day!!

I have form "AMSForm1 ( List name : AMSRegister) which is having 'PreapproverNames' Text field. This form basically consists with "Contract basis infos"(Refer the below screenshot).

The corresponding Contract T&C are saved under ContractsGallery ( List Name : ContractRegister).. The gallery used considering the T&C points and number of reviewers will vary based on Contract.

These 2 lists(AMS Register and ContractRegiser) are linked with Lookup column "ContractLookup"

Upon receipt of new Contract the basic details shall enter in AMS Form -> Click on "RiverbankDetails" button and add the relevant Contract T&C points.

The reviewers names shall select from "PreapproverName" PersonType column which consists with Email id. Multiple T&C points need to review by various reviewers.

My intention is to copy the "PreapproverName" Email ids to PreapproverName in AMS Register in order to use these email ids and initiate Approval Process.

Please assist in preparing expression.

hey

set this in the default property of your text field:

If(!IsBlank(PersonField.Selected), PersonField.Selected.Email, "")

you need to replace the name PersonField with the actual name of your control name.

if it worked please mark as verified answer

Thank you so much. Started working partially. Considering the source location is a Gallery(Refer the below screenshot) I changed the coding as per below. But it is reflecting only 1st line of the Gallery. Looks like need to use CONCAT. Appreciate your assistance

If(!IsBlank(drpPreapproverName.SelectedItems), drpPreapproverName.Selected.mail, "")

Hi

Still the response is same, first line email id is displaying.

If(!IsBlank(drpPreapproverName.SelectedItems), Concat(drpPreapproverName.SelectedItems, mail, "; "))

did we need to include the Gallery name ?

did we need to use the ID / Title/ Contractlookup in order to identify the respective Project line item.

Your Fromula is look like correct, can you check your combobox name and values are properly selected or not and also check on which column email is

Combobox name is correct. Since there is multiple lines did we need to link with the Lookup column with respect to the Project Details?

can u please again tell us what exactly you need. i think i did not fully understand the use case.

do you fill out the form and only want to show the concatenated emails in the extra text field, or are the names comming from the gallery?

please give more details

Thanks for your response and effort.

Let me reiterate the case scenario : The names are coming from the gallery(TasksGallery). The main form(AMSForm1) which contains the Contract details and the Gallery(TasksGallery) created for adding the Contractual points which need to be reviewed by the names listed below in the field "PreapproverName"( combo box name: drpPreapproverName). This is because in order to use these email ids for approval process. Upon clicking the Save button these "emai ids" should be copied automatically into "Preapprovername" field in "AMSForm1". Hope I explained well.
