I am trying to tidy in my test environment and there are many apps that don't need to continue living. There are both standard apps and SharePoint forms. In both cases, I manage to enter the detail page, I see the garbage bin, but when I click it (and confirm deletion), I am navigated back to the app list... and the app is still there!! I have been trying this now for some days, and I always get the same.
This was possible before, so I suspect there is a bug here... @microsoft, any idea?
Btw: I am global admin, and I am using PowerApps though an Office 365 E3 licence.
Hi @v-siky-msft ,
Thank you for your reply. I did as you say and it actually works! It's enough to refresh the page to see the app disappear from the list. But if I don't do it, if I for example click om it again and try once more to delete it, the item doesn't disappear. I also experienced the other day that, if I close the window and open it again, the app that I tried to delete is still in the list. So there is some missing Refresh logic in this page... very annoying- how is a user supposed to know??
So thank you for providing the solution, and let's hope that Microsoft improves the page 🙂
Best wishes,
Ginevra
Hi @Ginevra ,
I have test on my side, all apps can be deleted properly, but there was a delay of few minutes, older apps take longer to delete.
Can you wait few minutes, then refresh the page to check if the app is deleted.
before delete
after delete
Best regards,
Sik
