Hello community members,
We have a very important decision to make in our Power Apps development. Basically, the requirement is to develop multi-language support for the entire canvas app with Finnish language and it is unclear what is the technology to use.
Lately, it was announced in Power Apps roadmap that the support of multi-language apps will come in the future. We understood it so that supporting multiple languages will be much easier to implement in the user interface of canvas apps without any external data sources or creating collections.
Currently we see that the best technology for implementing multi-language support is to create translations in an Excel sheet and refer to those in the user interface of the canvas app. However, the canvas app of ours is very large with hundreds of labels so it will be a big project to create and refer translations for each label.
The big question is, is it wise to wait until the so called ”Power Apps multi-language support” feature is released or start building our own translations with Excel. The deadline of this feature in our organization is within weeks...
Would be nice if someone in the community would be able to give some insights to this new promised feature!
Thank you in advance,
Ville
