Hello Community,

I can not use App monitor for my app, as it is disabled. While hovering, it is showing that, I need to Disable "Live Update" from settings. But, there is nothing in settings screens related to that. Need your help. Thanks in advance.

The App Monitor option being disabled is likely due to Live Update being enabled in your app. However, the setting for "Live Update" has been moved or is not directly visible in the standard settings.

Solution: Disable Live Update to Enable App Monitor

    Try these steps:

    1. Check for Live Update in Preview Features

    1. Open Power Apps Studio.
    2. Click on Settings (⚙️) in the left panel.
    3. Go to Upcoming FeaturesPreview.
    4. Look for "Live Update".
    5. If it's enabled, toggle it off.
    6. Save and close your app.

    2. Try Editing the App in Another Tab

If you don’t see Live Update in settings:

    1. Open the Power Apps editor in a new browser tab.
    2. Edit the app and check if App Monitor is enabled.

    3. Clear Cache and Restart

Sometimes, UI changes don’t reflect immediately:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
    2. Close and reopen Power Apps Studio.
    3. Check again for Live Update under Settings → Upcoming Features → Preview.

    4. Use a Different Browser

Try opening Power Apps in Edge or Chrome if the setting isn’t appearing.

    Why Does This Happen?

Microsoft recently made changes to Live Update and App Monitor, and some users have reported missing settings in the UI. Disabling Live Update usually resolves the issue.

Disable Coauthoring in the Updates settings and the monitor should be enabled again.
