Hi,
I am looking to find the business closure calendar. I have a app that references it to determine working day, The apps can find the Business closure calendar
But I can't find how I access the calendar to update it with the business closures. I can find out how to updated it, but not where it is.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
this is the app that I installed: GitHub - jlattimer/CRM-DateTime-Workflow-Utilities: Custom workflow actions that deal with date and time values in Dynamics CRM 2015, 2016, & D365/CE (v7.0+)
Thanks
Troy
I am also looking for this entity, but I would like to read from/write to it from a Web API and also from power automate flows. Where can I find it?
Hi @troyhoskison and @jjaroska ,
Go to the admin.powerplatform.com and then go into your environment and select "Settings" for the environment from top navigation menu.
You will then see all the settings for the environment and in the Business section you will see "Business Closures". If you click on this you will be able to setup business closures to utilize.
You can query from Advanced Find the Business Closures.
I did find that. What I am wondering is how I access it through XrmToolbox or a WebApi from my c# mvc web application?
Hi @jjaroska ,
Does this help?
FetchXML Syntax:
<fetch version="1.0" output-format="xml-platform" mapping="logical" distinct="false"><entity name="msdyn_businessclosure"><attribute name="msdyn_businessclosureid" /><attribute name="msdyn_name" /><attribute name="createdon" /><order attribute="msdyn_name" descending="false" /></entity></fetch>
Entity Reference: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/entities/msdyn_businessclosure?view=op-9-1
That is a start. I have attached the error I get when executing that.
Do you have Dynamics 3665 for Sales installed in your environment or other Dynamics 365 product? Looking at the CDM definition it looks to be part of the ProjectCommon area of CRM so I expect it would not be available if you do not have this installed in your Dataverse environment.
Entity BusinessClosure displayName Business Closure version 1.2.1 cdmSchemas [ "/core/wellKnownCDSAttributeGroups.cdm.json/cdsCreationModificationDatesAndIds", "/core/wellKnownCDSAttributeGroups.cdm.json/cdsOwnershipInfo", "/core/wellKnownCDSAttributeGroups.cdm.json/cdsTimeZoneInfo", "/core/wellKnownCDSAttributeGroups.cdm.json/cdsVersionTracking", "/core/applicationCommon/foundationCommon/crmCommon/projectCommon/scheduling/BusinessClosure.cdm.json/BusinessClosure/hasAttributes/attributesAddedAtThisScope" ] sourceName msdyn_businessclosure
Are you able to find the table and create values with Advanced Find in your environment?
When I click on the link above it loads up a blank page. I raised a ticket with MS and they said that the business closure is only installed with CRM
Hi @Troy-H ,
Thanks. Looks like my thought was correct. Can you mark accepted if you agree?
I do not have Sales installed. How do I get to advanced find?
Hi @jjaroska,
It is available in any model driven app you create as a "filter" icon in the top right in the command bar.
