Hi, Im building an app for my company. For this app i want to buid a search function for a gallery. This gallery needs to be sorted on the date with sortorder decending. The filter part for searching contains an Or function to let me search in 4 different columns. I tried some formulas but can't get it to work. Anyone who can help?

Sort(
 Filter(
 Goodcatch;
 Or(
 Searchbar_excel.Text in 'Oorzaak afwijking';
 Searchbar_excel.Text in 'Genomen actie';
 Searchbar_excel.Text in 'Naam melder';
 Searchbar_excel.Text in Datum
 )
 );
 Datum;
 SortOrder.Descending
)

    Hi @Waterblikje

    That's not a delegable query (assuming Goodcatch is a table and not a collection).

    What isn't working?
    Is there an error?

    Hi @Waterblikje (fellow Dutch memeber) 😉

    In your case the Search function is more useable.

    The Search function finds records in a table that contain a string in one of their columns.

    Search(Table*, SearchStringColumn1 [, *Column2*, ... ] )

    The code would look like:

    Sort(
     Search(
     Goodcatch;
     Searchbar_excel.Text;
     "Oorzaak afwijking";
     "Genomen actie";
     "Naam melder";
     "Datum"
     );
     Datum;
     SortOrder.Descending
    )

    If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know. Have a great day! 😊

    HI @Waterblikje,

    If you want to search in 4 different columns, you must make sure that all of the 4 columns are Single-line-of-text column.
