Development Environment - Get PROD Data to develop with it

Hi lovely community,

 

to change any App in Develop Environment I need productive Data.

How I can copy necessary data?

Do I have to create for all tables Dataflows? I have lot of lookup columns and don't want to map all Key Columns for it...

 

Is there a simple feature I can use? I guess I'm not the only one with this question.

    Easiest way but I am not sure if you have the new app developed or not but I would say Copy Environment is the easiest approach may be copy to a new environment and then move your app to the new environment for testing.

    Please be cautious using this option.

     

    Another option will be Data Transporter Tool of the XRM Toolbox

    thank you for reply!

    Copying Environment I have already done with Sandbox and Testing, so I'm familar with it for Testing.

    Next to my Test Environment I'd like to work with some Prod Data while Developing my App (also some try and error actions). So always copying Environemnt after Developing wouldn't so efficiently I think.

     

    Data Transporter with XRM Tool - I will give it a try! Thank you!

     

    But anyway I thought there would be maybe a nice Microsoft way for it..
