Hi Everyone, I tried searching all over the forums to figure this out and either I’m overtired or there is not much on this topic.
I’m building a Model Driven App for Field Service Technicians that work in remote areas therefore Offline is a necessity. I say this because I won’t be able to embed a canvas app within the form as it is not supported offline (correct me if I’m wrong).
I’m looking for a radio button control. The technician has 30 inspection points for each job so I need to create 30 fields that have the following choices: Pass, Fail, N/A. As I want to make this as easy as possible to quickly populate these fields so I’m trying to avoid a Picklist. However, I’m open to other ideas as well. Thanks!
This could work well. I’ll play around with these. Thanks!
I'd suggest you use a PCF from the community that makes this easier to work with.
@DianaBirkelbach has a slick Colorful Optionset that is still a picklist, but because of the color coding it is much easier for users to pick from quickly.
And there's also this one from Aditya Dash that creates some simple buttons from small optionsets.
