Managed to unmanaged component

Hi Experts,

I am facing a challenge converting managed component into unmanaged one.
Background: I have few fields in my environment which were created by importing a managed solution. I also have a dev environment where these fields were created.
challenge: I am not able to remove the base managed layer, even after importing those fields as unmanaged from dev env.

Hi @PranavRana

You should be able to remove the managed solution, are you getting a specific error?

@dpoggemann Apologies. I forgot to mention:
there are a lot of dependencies. I need to convert those fields from managed to unmanaged, without having to remove those dependencies.

for this i imported an unmanaged solution containing those fields. But still the dependency error is coming while removing the old managed solution.

Hello You can use the XRMToolBox tool called Solutions Layers Explore to remove the managed layer
