Dropdown not displaying properly

I have this form. the status has a default of out of stock, it's only showing the number instead of the text.
on the Datacardvalue:

    Hello, go to DisplayFields and set it to ["Value"] or ["Status"]. This property determines what should be displayed in the card.

    I just did this:
    the dropdown options were showing correctly, it was just the default that wouldn't show.

    select the dropdown control and click on fields on the right side pane, there u can select which value should be shown, i guess there is simply a wrong choice
