If I am the administrator for my sharepoint online site should powerapps should I automatically be assigned the administrator permissions in powerapps as well?

If you are the global administrator of your Microsoft 365 tenant then the answer is yes. But if you are the Site Collection administrator of a SharePoint online site collection then the answer is not necessarily. SharePoint administrator, SharePoint Site Collection Administrator, and Power Platform administrator are all different roles.

Hi @Johnnymald2016 ,

No. Only Roles - Power platform admin , Dynamics 365 admin and Global Admin access with grant admin rights in Powerapps. SharePoint Role governs the access in SharePoint online site only.
