"Add new item" in SharePoint list not working - using form customised in PowerApps

Hi there,

I have a SharePoint list with a customised form using Power Apps. When I select "Add New Item" and complete the form and hit save, it does not create a new item. I have to go into "Edit in grid view" and then create the item there.

I can update an existing item with no problem - so I know that the custom form is working. I also use a very similar custom form on several other lists, and it works fine on there both for "Add new item" and editing existing items.

Does anyone have any explanation why a new record is not being added to the list when I complete the form?

hey

please go to your app and navigate to the sharepointintgration on the left side in the tree view and show us the code you use for the on new property there. is there any code or is it blank?
