I have a teams environment, with various PowerApps (for teams) using the Teams Dataverse. Installing the PowerApps App in teams gives users access to all the data in dataverse, even if I'd like to restrict that access. Last time I looked into this, the only solution to prevent a user from accessing the data like this was to disable the PowerApps App in teams - but this was a global setting. Likewise trying to prevent users from being able to edit the PowerApps that are published to the team. Has the teams security model been changed so that we can limit the users who can install the PowerApps App (or any app for that matter) to an AAD security group, or some other method of maintaining user access?
Thanks
A couple of things in response to your questions.
1) You can manage the permissions that users have to access Dataverse for Teams tables by going to the Table in Power Apps and selecting Manage permissions. You can set the permissions for members and visitors in Teams.
2) Your Teams admins can create custom apps policies in the Teams admin center that can control whether users can install custom apps or not.
